Details:

Cleaning services will be performed per our checklist or as outlined below, for the agreed price per cleaning. Extra services will be an additional cost.

Due to the time-consuming and unpredictable nature of cleaning, an exact time of arrival cannot be guaranteed. We provide a.m. and p.m. time slots for your convenience.

We do not climb higher than a two-step ladder. Higher items will only be dusted with an extension
duster.

We do not move furniture, but we will try to clean hard-to-reach places either by hand or by extension
duster.

We do not clean mini blinds.

Please allow for some dust re-settlement after we leave. We try to limit the dust in the air but cannot
prevent the entirely. We suggest changing your air filter after the visit, and again in two weeks.
We do not clean painted walls.

 

Terms and conditions: 

In consideration of our agreement to provide cleaning services in exchange for a fee, Green Cleaning & Recycling, LLC and you (our client) agree to all of the following terms and conditions:

Work Hours: Normal business hours are 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Monday through Friday. You are welcome to call the business between 8:30-5:30 or email us at support@greencleaningandrecycling.com.

Effectiveness: Please be prepared for us before we arrive, we can do a more thorough job if the house is prepared before we get there. Have personal items cleared away and rooms ready to be cleaned.

Rescheduling and Lockouts: We know that things happen from time to time, and cancellations and changes may occur. We allow two skipped cleanings per year without a charge. Green Cleaning requests cancellations for a scheduled service be canceled/rescheduled the week before your scheduled service. Cancelations MUST be 48 hours in advance. To cancel a Monday service, we will need to be notified on Friday at the latest. Any cancelations with less than 48 hours’ notice, will be charged $75.00. We do not guarantee that we can reschedule within the same week or the week following. If service is canceled last minute or our team members show up for a job and no one is home and no key or code to your home is provided you will be charged for a full-service cleaning. 6 weeks or more between appointments will be billed at an initial clean rate.

Sick Policy: If you or your children are sick with a contagious illness (flu, cold, pneumonia, chicken pox, COVID-19, lice, etc.) please reschedule your cleaning. Even though the cleaning process disinfects your house, it is possible that the germs may be transported to another home or those cleaning your home may get sick. To be fair to all the customers and staff, please wait until you are well again to reschedule. Green Cleaning & Recycling will return this same courtesy.  


Payments: We will use your provided email to send an invoice that has the option of paying by major credit card. If you have a card on file, your card will automatically be charged, and we will email you a receipt. Cash and Checks will also be accepted. Please leave cash or check payments in a sealed envelope on the counter with your name and marked for Green Cleaning. Payment is due on your service date. A $25 late fee will be added to your account if payment is not received within 3 business days following the service date.  There will be a $75 charge for returned checks. Tips are not mandatory but are appreciated by our staff. If you choose to leave a gratuity, please leave it in an envelope marked for your cleaning team. If you want to leave a tip online, text the office and let us know. You shall be responsible for all reasonable costs and expenses incurred by or on behalf of Green Cleaning & Recycling. LLC reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses.

Rate change: Green Cleaning & Recycling reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the amount of time it takes to perform our services to meet the client’s standards. Green Cleaning & Recycling will contact the client to discuss possible price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs drastically from the bid. Our structure includes a yearly 5% increase to account for inflation and operational costs.

 

Supplies/Equipment: We will provide all cleaning supplies and equipment needed for your home. A toilet scrubber (per toilet) must be provided by you. We will not clean the inside of your toilet if these are not provided. We will let you know if these need to be replaced. If you prefer us to use your floor equipment, we are not responsible for maintenance or damage of equipment due to lack of maintenance or damage caused by unmaintained equipment. Exceptions are if the client has any specialty cleaners they prefer. All cleaning supplies must be eco-friendly if provided by the client and approved by office management. 


Temperature Control: We all do our best to conserve energy and have programmable thermostats. However, please be aware that physical labor is being done in your home and try to maintain a comfortable environment for the staff. The preferred temperature for the staff is 70-72*F.


Bedding: Pricing includes the changing of one bed. Additional beds are $10 each. 

Pet Clean-up: Accidents happen, and we understand that. However, health regulations prohibit us from cleaning these up.


Special Request or Misc. Projects: Extra services requested are welcomed, although please understand that we need to be notified before your scheduled service as to what extra services you would like to have done. There are extra costs associated with some extra services, so please make sure you ask for the cost before having the work done. We also need to schedule appropriately depending on the tasks to allow our cleaners more time to complete them and get to their next jobs.


No solicitation: Please do not ask our employees about “on the side” services that will not be booked through our office. Due to the nature of our business and per our Workman’s Comp Agreement, our cleaners are not available to do side jobs, such as additional cleaning, babysitting, pet sitting etc. Solicitation may result in a fine of up to $3000.


Items of Importance: Please be aware that our staff will try their best to handle all your items with care, but unfortunately sometimes accidents do occur. If you have an item/items of great importance, please either notify our staff not to clean the item/items or have them stored away during our service. 


Photo Disclaimer: From time to time, we may post before and after photos on our social media accounts. We will ensure no personal identifying images will be used.


Service Restrictions: We will NOT perform tasks involving reaching heights inaccessible on our 2-step ladder, lifting, and moving heavy furniture, moving appliances that are connected to gas or water, cleaning bio-hazardous substances (feces, blood, etc.), cleaning infested properties (rodents, bugs, etc.), laundry, carpet cleaning (but we can refer you to an awesome provider!), or service clients who are disrespectful to our staff. Cleaning is done assuming all surfaces are sealed, i.e. countertops, floors, etc. If you are aware of any surface that is not sealed, please notify us so that we may take appropriate action. We are not responsible for hanging items and shelves that have not been properly secured to the wall.

Weather: Green Cleaning & Recycling will be closed for business when extremely severe weather causes dangerous driving conditions. We delay or close according to Lubbock ISD guidelines. We will make every effort to reschedule as quickly as possible.

 

Holidays: Green Cleaning & Recycling will be closed on the following national holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. If your cleaning falls on any of these days and you would like to reschedule around them, please note the earlier you contact us the better as we fill up around holidays very quickly. 


Service Issues: During your maintenance schedule, Green Cleaning encourages feedback from their clients to let us know how we are doing. We can only improve our services if we know what areas need improving. So, we encourage and welcome your comments. Email: support@greencleaningandrecycling.com.

Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you do have any problems with the service from our cleaners, we need to hear from you within 24 hours of service in order to guarantee our work. We will send cleaners out to your home within 24 to 48 hours to re-clean the areas that were not cleaned to your satisfaction.
